I bought replacement a/c lines (as well as my replacement compressor) from www.caawparts.com Good prices, and helpful people on the phone who seem to know their schyte.

The line's not too to remove. It's fishing the new lines in there that's a pain. First you'll want to have the a/c line removal tools (is there a real name for these?). Also want to make sure you have new gaskets (o-rings) at the connections.

Good luck!

One of my AC lines has decided to get religion. In other words it has
become holy. Of course the location is under the battery box so I don't
know for sure which of the two lines is bad.
Two questions:
What is the easyst way to remove the bad line other than having a
repair shop do it?
Does anybody know of a source for a reasonably priced replacement
line? Ford wants $175. or $55. (depending on which line) and my local
parts stores all say dealer only.
thanks
