[Shotimes] Electric Power Steering pumps?

I'm doing a little research into electric power steering pumps and the
feasibility of adding one to a SHO and getting rid of the stock pump and
bracket from the back of the engine. As some already know I'm adding an
electric water pump to my 94 MTX shortly (when ever I start my 3.2 swap) and
I figure while at it an electric power steering system wouldn't be a bad
idea if I can find the space for it.

I know that there have been some production cars out there with an
electrical system that drives a pump to pump the fluids for the PS system.
Someone told me that 2005 Mustangs will have something like that, but I
would more believe that they would use a system like the Mazda RX-8 in
having electrically assisted steering and no hydraulics involved. So far my
search has turned up Subrau SVX's an EPS system, and some later model
Pontiac Fiero's. I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with
these or knows of other cars out there that I can look at.

Thanks
