No, he didn't have a parrot OR a patch, but he was as scraggly as Long John Silver
after a couple of months on Treasure Island....his car looked like it had been
buried for years....it was one of those old early '80s Chrysler products that look
like Mercurys from a distance.  I knew that if I had decided to hit it rather than
go over the curb, there'd be nothing left of the right side of my car....we'd be OK,
but Lowrider woulda been history.

....If I'da KNOWN he was going to DO that....continue into my lane, I coulda
demonstrated the Wilwoods to Eva, and saved everything, but I gave him the benefit
of the doubt, instinctively.

(I also could have slowed down on that off-ramp, but what's the fun in that!!??)
