Kirk Doucette sells some Kickass mounts, I have all 3 in my car, only thing
that is a pain is waiting for him to have the time and good cores to make
them, His are priced right, and are very very stiff, but wil give a little
to have no noticable vibrations. Josh T. of SHOnut has 2 types of mounts,
and from my experience the extreme ones are almost to stiff. They are a
little harder to install because of the stiffness.
I've got some old ripped mounts here that I was going to play around with
over the summer, pourable urethane, welder, and some spare time and see if I
can come up with a durable reinforced mount. I was looking at an 85A
durometer (cured) urethane and or a 97A one as well. That coupled with a bit
of steel should result in a stronger mount, and could even possibly use old
ripped mounts as long as the mounting holes and hardware are good.
