Another thing I should note is that the slicer with tire doesn't quite fit all the way into the spare tire well, so the cover has about a 1" gap at the edges.  It hasn't bothered me and I actually prefer it to the flat cover--the flat cover had an annoying tendency to slide all around the trunk, even with something on top of it.

Maybe if you had a slicer with a very worn tire, it may fit better into the well.

The full size spare cover has a hump on it that accommodates the extra
height of the full sized wheel/tire.  The trunk floor will no longer be
completely flat.
