[Shotimes] What's needed during a clutch change

The shaft bushings are also the leading cause of clutch failures. When the bushings are worn, the shaft gets cocked and caused the outer race of the T.O. Bearing to touch the clutch fingers when the clutch pedal is pressed. Eventually, the fingers get chewed right off.

I know - I have TWO examples in my shed! It took me doing the clutch job myself and not relying on a shop to figure this out.

BTW, make sure you also put grease on the shaft and inside the bushings before you re-insert it. It will pevent clutch dust from getting into the space between the bushing and the shaft.

Also the clutch cross-shaft bushing. Plastic wears badly and causes "clicks
/ stickiness".
Josh has a metal one.
Definately get the flywheel cut.
Do not skimp, you may be sorry, I was..
