I would bring your passport or birth certificate. Last year coming back
from a trip to Canada fishing, crossing the border 1 out of the 3 cars
we had got hassled coming back in. We we're told to have some
documentation in the future. Of course last year was the 14th year we'd
gone on this trip without any hassle going to and from Canada. They guy
just questioned us for a couple minutes and let us go without a problem.
When I put the route into Street Atlas 2004 it suggested staying in the
US. Taking Route 90 to Cleveland and picking up Route 80 there. From
the map it doesn't look like there's much difference you still have to
around south of Lake Michigan. Street Atlas is saying 18 hours 52
minutes and 1,073 miles.

I didn't mark this OT since I will be driving my new SHO back.
Any suggestions as to what to avoid driving from Boston to Milwaukee?
Yahoo
says to cross into Canada around Niagara Falls and come back into the
states
around Detroit. Sound reasonable? Any special documentation I should
carry
with me? I assume I can outrun the RCMP since they are on horses...
