Passport and birth certificate are the best pieces of ID to bring.  Passport
should be good enough.  I know when I cross into the US they sometimes ask
for more than just passport, coming back into Canada I've never been asked
for more than a passport.  As long as it's a government issued photo ID, it
should be good.

Haven't you heard?  You can run but you can't hide...the RCMP always gets
their man.  :)
