[Shotimes] removing tint film, preserving defroster

You can buy a solution that you spray onto the film and it will help
dissolve the adhesive.  I'm not sure if Pep Boys sells it, you might
have to go to a tint shop to get it.

The Plus From Hell will soon be coming out of winter storage.  The 5%
tint
film has got to come off; it's a cop magnet here.

Any tips for removing film from the rear glass while giving the
defroster
the best chance of surviving?
