[Shotimes] K&N filter vs new ProFlow air filter

I mentioned in a recent post that the people at ProFlow moved away
from the K&N type filter in favor of a new oil-less synthetic fiber
reusable air filter.  The person I spoke with said that ProFlow was
having too many problems with returns from people over-oiling their
filters and contaminating the MAF element.  The synthetic fiber
filter supposedly works just as will but without requiring oil, and
cleans easily with tap water.  FWIW.  I don't have any experience
with the new style filter and have a K&N filter myself.
