I don't know if Gen3 has soul, but it has Personality!  Says so officially
in the 99 EVTM that there's "Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP)" module.

Wow.  Maybe the reason some of us stay from Gen3 is that we don't like RAP.

p.s.  Thanks Paul Fisher for sending EVTM pics.  I'm not going to pursue
trying to put 98-and-later remote keyless into early-90's SHO.  This looks
too complicated to convert to RAP.  Ever seen the movie "Christine"?  I'd be
worried every time I slap the dash, the radio would start playing hip-hop.
