[Shotimes] Engine troubles

Do you know the last time the spark plugs were
replaced? How about the plug wires? Those two things
alone can cause major power loss. Pull one of the plug
wires in front and check for water/dirt/oil in the
plug wells.
Your tach sounds like an electrical problem, but I'm
only guessing here. Others would know better with
that.
Maybe try washing the engine compartment out, too.
With alot of dirt and grime in there it can cause some
problems. When I first got my SHO, I lost my ABS
within the first month. The engine was really dirty,
could barely see the words stamped on the intake. Some
dirt and grime got into the module and shorted it out.
Some places will do it for you at a decent price. If
you do it yourself, cover up the battery, coilpack,
etc.
Good luck with your SHO, and don't give up on it yet.
Sounds like you just need a few little things to get
it back up on the road and purring. Keep posting with
updates...
