Just throwing this out there for your enjoyment. (If on dialup,
only select the "Small" picture choice or you will be waiting a long
time)

Got this new 15GB iPod for b'day and I really like the possibilities
this opens up for car audio. For instance, I can carry around the
entire Beatles studio album set and anthology compilations, all my
Sinatra LPs, all the Dire Straits music and a ton more stuff.
According to the software I got with it, there is enough music to
last almost 6 days uninterrupted. Finally no more compromises on
what to take and what to leave behind.

My 92 has the Gen 1 console so you can see how I decided to setup
the device. Finally have a good use for that cassette holder! The
iPod itself is quite tiny, but I went with the DLO transpod dock to
make it easier to transport the iPod. The dock doubles as an FM
modulator so I play the MP3s over the FM tuner. If I replace the
head unit with something more current, it would have an AUX input
that would allow a direct connection improving the sound even
further.

I also included a picture of the dealer installed Ford 10 disc
(rebadged Sony) CD changer control interface in case you've never
seen one. If you look carefully you will see the Ford logo stamped
on the fob. Don't know how many SHOs actually had these installed.
I liked this solution better than the single CD choice in the dash.
At the time I bought the changer it only cost me $100 more than the
in dash unit. Having said this, I am thinking that the CD equipment
won't get used anymore just like I never play cassettes.

One of the pics also shows where I installed 2 additional 12V
accessory outlets.

PS. Yes, I know the carpets need to be vacuumed...
