This is the first I've heard of Ford pulling the plug on SVT. I knew they
were taking off for a couple of model years to develop SVT products on the
new platforms (new F150 and Mustang). What's your source for this info?

First off
forget SVT ford is pulling the plug on it. (why? i honestly don't know)
second off..
longitudinal mount 24v DOHC V-6 with variable vale timing intake/exhaust
(3.4L or 3.5L)
or 32v DOHC VVT V-8 (3.8-4.2L)
i really would like to see yamaha make this engine and i believe 300hp +
from the factory wouldn't be a problem...
true dual exhaust (possibly adaptation of a mustang system
AWD (similar to the ford 49 / volvo S60R)
have a 2-3 stage suspension system (similar to the S60R)
seats from the S60R (ohhhh! they're SOOO nice!)
less gadgets and gizmos (no dvd navigation standard)
no traction controll (saves weight)
a proper braking system
Price between 32-38k
Basically i forsee this car if being produced a bridge between the Fourty
Nine AWD and the Volvo S60R
i'd like to see it but personally i HIGHLY doubt we'll ever see this car.
