Possibly getting OT here...

front passengers but ducting is needed for the rear
passengers.  That is the one major complaint I hear
from people riding in the back seat."

The folk's 2000 Sable had vents for the rear coming
out of the center console. Their 2003 had those vents
eliminated. I think Mercury (ok ok, FORD) dropped the
ball on that one. Did any other models have that
option? The Gen 3?
