Hey Folks.....

Don mentioned to me a week ago or so that things are going a little slow. We need
to get on the stick here. There is a potentially large financial commitment to
Thunderhill Raceway, and we don't want to lose the opportunity to enjoy this track.
California IS a long way away for a lot of you, but this is, like I said before, a
"Once In A Decade Opportunity" for a great vacation to be enjoyed with a lot of
friends. That doesn't happen very often.

Below is his message to you all. My message adds this.....you folks that have been
here for 5 years or more might recall the stillborn Las Vegas convention in the
mid-'90s. That one died on the vine because folks (including myself) did not
register early enough to insure there would be attendence large enough to make it a
success. I was fully intending to register....I just didn't "get around to it..."
Let's not let that happen THIS time.

Let me reiterate what Don says....if you don't know if you can run Thunderhill or
not, that's fine. There most likely will be room for anyone who wants to run it to
sign up later on. And even if you don't want to commit the basic registration fee
right now, that's OK too. The main thing is to know that you will in fact BE
THERE. That's the most important thing, by FAR!!

And....there are other acceptable hotels in the area that may well have cheaper
rates. I'll get out there and check on a few of them, and make a page on the site
so you can make plans.

OK......let's see some positive mail flow!!!
