[Shotimes] Engine troubles

Eric,

Even if you're luck enough to live in an area that doesn't have
emissions testing, you should still either have your cats hollowed out
or install new ones. The result of this much fuel dumping into the cats
no doubt turned their internals into an almost solid ball of crap that
will reduce power and fuel economy.

Hi Eric,

One last comment, it sounds like you've driven a fair distance with your
engine on 4 cylinders. I strongly recommend that you pick up a new (or
good-used) set of cats-- running two cylinders' worth of unburnt fuel
through your cats for an extended period of time may have
damaged/destroyed them. I've seen used y-pipes advertised on this email
list for pretty cheap, and they'll almost certainly come in handy the
next
time you have to get your emissions tested.

Regards,
    -Arjun
