Out of some old info books

1) Car & Driver (Oct 1992) for a 1993 SHO ATX, 0-60 mph in 7.6 seconds, 1/4
mile is 15.7 seconds
Power (220 bhp @ 6000 rpm; torque of 215 lb-ft @4800)

Highs: Great ride, transaxle whose temperament is a perfect match for the
Yamaha V-6
Lows: Some loss of steering feel, stying that is awfully familiar
The Verdict: The sedan de Ville of SHOs, which should have appeared in 1989

(estimated price as tested $26, 824)

2) Road & Track (July 1993) for 1993 SHO ATX, 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds; 1/4
mile in 16.0 at 88 mph (Price as tested $28,831)

Good point, Kevin, although there are some people (like me) who elect to
retain the silencer cone and outer airbox setup. I haven't found another
intake setup that performs quite like it (yet), IMO.

Then again, that's just me ... and my car. ;)

  Jason:
Couple of things kinda don't make sense? Your car had a aftermarket Y-pipe
and cat back exhaust installed and a chip but still had the stock silencer
and filter setup? Most often the silencer is pulled the first thing!
  Just wondering.
