We don't have one. Ron Nottingham set this list up and I believe technically
has the power to boot people but I have never seen him jump in like Larry
does on the V8SHO list. I like the SHOtimes list as it is.

A little history. www.shotimes.com was stated by David Bonds and he was the
webmaster as well as the moderator. The email list moved around a little and
ended up on www.topica.com. They were having some issues so Ron offered to
have it hosted by www.team.net. It was moved and David relinquished the web
site to the current owner, Evan. You would have to talk to Evan about
updates. I believe it is setup so that it is kind of self-updating if you
post to it. I'm not sure about that.

I believe the email below was about another site that David Bonds was
running for the Lone Star SHO club.

Dilemma...

I'm about to start a fight. I didn't know this list even had a moderator.
let alone knew who it was. So my thinking is he must be doing a damn good
job. I like mods that stay out of the way that don't take personal
vandetta's against people. Anyone who offers up to more then happy to take
over the list sounds like someone looking to have a little power go to their
head. Make some changes and all that stuff that usually kills a list or
fourm. I will say this I've been banned from a Forum and a Mailing list for
speaking my mind. And everytime it's happened it was when someone took over
the moderator job. So far I don't see where this list needs and moderation
or power hungy bigheads telling us what can and can't be posted. I think all
and all we are all adults and control ourselves very well. Since I've been
here I've not seen a flame war or personal insults. I've seen a few heated
debates about a certain nipple to remain nameless. But compared to some of
the list's I'm on thi!
s thing
is sedate. That and I have not developed a dislike for anyone here. Matter
of fact whenever I have posted any topic dealing with a needed part or help
I've had tons of offers and answers in very little time. Like the saying
goes If it aint broke don't fix it.

Ok...got a question for you. Why does SHOtimes list
need a moderator? The SHOTimes website needs alot of
help. Don't think it has been updated or even touched
up in 6 months. What would a moderator do here anyway?
