Any reasonable quality clutch kit these days should have a new steel "quill"
with a matching (larger diameter) throwout bearing with a nylon sliding
surface. Make sure it does or go buy the Ford parts.
Original non-quill design was a major source of clutch trouble.
The plastic pin should be in there too.
Also get wear bushings for clutch cross-shaft.
Another major wear point.
Josh T. has them in 2 styles.
