Interesting phenomenona on my 1990 pontiac lemans.. No jokes.. :)

anyways, when im turning and no matter if its gentle or hard turns the 
transmission slips out of gear.. Only on turns.. Straight away its fine..   
Dipsticks reads full.. Can an overly full cause this?? Im perplexed..
