[Shotimes] OT: State Trivia / politics

Here I'll put this in perspective for ya. 2.00 a gallon is cheap by world standards what I don't get and I have proof that I bought gas twice the same day once for 1.81.9 a gallon and I filled up for 1.56.9 a gallon. What justifies this obscene price diffrenece? fucking greed. Gas is cheap around here until the wed then it sky rockets for the weekend then falls again Sunday night. And forget a holiday weekend if gas is 1.50 on monday and the weekend is a holiday it's up to 2.00 bucks a gallon by Wed. Now I drive the SHO daily I fill up two to three times a week. I drive alot I use the car for work all my friends live 40 miles away. my parents live 40 miles away I have two kids that have to be places all the time. The thing about the rest of the world is they have a pretty decent mass transit system where in this country we have the interstate system. And only large city's have Mass transit. Now for those of you saying that 2.00 is reasonable for gas I'll send ya my 76 Cobra to drive
 for a month everyday. at 6 MPG take out a loan to do any real driving and if you decide to get into it refi your house. As far as this paper work thing goes I gotta agree with that. Michigan charges 15.00 for a title pretty reasonable right. but if the idiot who programs the computer to spit out my title and the other moron who stuffs it in an envelope then the thrid moron that licks it shut and the 4 th one that puts it through the postage meter and the 5th one that takes it out and the 6 th one that puts it in the basket to go to the mail and 7th one that actually mails it, Did not all make 25.00+ an hour then my title fee would be about 2 bucks.Hell if I had to send mail that way my credit card company would owe me money just for my mailing fee. And I'll tell ya what you can buy hand soap and shampoo for .99 Well I can my wife can't but that's another story.

Now I've got a much better idea than higher taxes. How about we take the

The amount of money even this STATE takes in is RETARDED it's so high, yet
they seem to think they need to raise taxes because the schools need more
funding or the roads need to be fixed better. Realistically it's the
paperwork that we lose all the money in. We're paying too many people to do
too little work. First and foremost we should eliminate ALL paperwork fees.
It's a bullshit reason to ask for more money. They know DAMN well it
doesn't cost $25 to send a piece of paper from one side of the office to the
other.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa, gota' slow down, that was about to be a big long rant, and
I've got work to do.
