[Shotimes] OT help for friend with Maxima

David,
I will suggest that to him, but wouldn't it do it most if
not all of the time? This problem is very intermittent and
did not do it in an extensive test drive the other night. I
guess the chuncks could be rattling around and some times
bounce into a position to plug the system?
As for exhaust. he has ditched the exhaust after the cats,
so it is real loud and I am not even sure if he still has
the converters on it, but I would guess he does.
