The rain stayed away entirely and we had a very nice, if
windy day at the SCCA autocross in Rantoul, IL.

Ken was ahead of me by .2 of a second all day, doesn't sound
bad till you realize I had my race tires on, Quaife and 25
more hp! And still didn't beat him! We swapped cars and he
beat me by 3 seconds, so that proves it. I am officially
over the hill! :)

Still, Ken (95 Silver Frost) and Me (89 Titanium) were the
ONLY four door cars running! All fart pipe civics or
Miatas, or vettes or S2000's etc. Considering we were at
least 500 to 700 pounds heavier than most cars, we didn't do
bad.

Fastest cars (only a few) were running in the low 50's with
FTD a Vette, and only car in the high 40's. Ken and I wound
up both in the mid 56's and ahead of a bunch of smaller cars.

I think we did the SHO proud.

I know I had a great time, and so did Ken.

Rain hit as we were leaving town, and we drove back in rain
all the way, but it was mostly sunny and super nice for the
racing.
