What the hell are you ranting at me for? I was just explaining to Don how
ALT-CTRL-DEL will do an orderly shutdown. Lay off the caffeine, OK?

Cheezus H Riced, isn't it just easier to click on the stupid Start button?

Try this, go down to your local senior citizen home and ask one of the
octogenarians to shut down your Windows computer. I will bet you $1 billion
they'll say, "Well, I see the Start button but no Stop button." If they
don't recognize that the Start button is the way to Stop the machine, why in
the hell would they ever surmise that Ctrl-Alt-Del will do the trick?
Microsoft has taken all of the logic and intuition out of it.

Ask the same crowd how to turn off the TV and I bet they do that
lickety-split by pressing the "On/Off" button. So maybe, the Start button
should be re-labeled "Start/Stop" or perhaps quite simply, "Main Menu", OR
maybe put a "Stop" button in the lower right-hand corner and move the
chronometer somewhere else.
