That, plus a REAL engine, like a 5.4 DOHC (as real as you can get nowadays....I'd
rather have a 429 pushrod V-8) would have made me think about it.  The 4.6 just
doesn't have the torque for a big car that I want, and I also don't believe in
supercharging to patch over all the other failings.  Just like with small audio
speakers vs. large for bass delivery...there is no substitute for cubic inches.

(Technofreaks stand down....I know there are exceptions, but in general that rule
applies.)

My poor Crown Vic has to downshift out of O/D when on cruise just to climb up a
couple of gentle but long I-80 hills on my commute.  

Wimpy....wimpy....wimpy....!
