On the TLC show "Rides" they documented the design and construction of the
Shelby Cobra concept car.  The engineers designed the engine to run
specifically on high-octane racing fuel so that it would capture the
"aroma" of the original Cobra.

James,  I take it you're not a Nascar fan. The smell of 40+ high
performance, un-efficient engines would be (great in my opinion) hard for
