[Shotimes] Does this actually work?

Many people, including myself and Bill STaif of the Registry 
have had verifiable good results with Valvoline MaxLife oil. 
  I have tried Marvel in the distant past, and other 
additives, but I prefer an oil that is designed from the 
start for a situation, rather than mixing a stew of 
debatable products.

NO product will solve bad valve guide/seal problems, and 
nothing really stops all leaks, but the MaxLife does seem to 
help, and it is a pretty good oil.

I use it in my '89 that leaks less now than it did, but I 
still put in Amsoil synthetic when I go racing.
