Damn

See I'm buying this 335k mile one for my brother, and I'm tempted to not
pull the rod bearings till I hear a knock, and/or bother with the valve
lash, just so that I can see how long it can go for before the engine dies
:-) Thankfully the previous owner took good care of it, and I'm realy
interested to see how far it can go without major work.

There was one on eBay recently that had just shy of 400,000 (something like
394,000).

Whats the current highest mileage running SHO out there that people have
heard of? I have know of a 335K mile one with all original rodbearings and
never had a valve lash. Will prolly be parked in my driveway soon for my
brother to drive, after I go over it and perhaps replace the rod bearings. I
just wnated to get an idea of what are some of the other high mileage
numbers out there
