I had that thought, but as a friend of mine used to say: 
"My name is on the title I get to do what I want...when YOUR 
name is on the title, you get to do what YOU want".

So I bit my tongue.  He had called hoping I could give him 
some magic cure for his bad shifting car.  The $800+ 
projected cost (at some shops) was too much for his love of SHO.

The scoop and spoiler are one reason I cautioned about doing 
some homework.  Otherwise, if he was telling the truth, it 
is a well maintained, cosmetically nice car otherwise.  I 
told him if his all leather interior, including drivers seat 
were in as good of shape as he said, he could probably sell 
the seats for as much as the whole car was worth!
