FYI, NASCAR supports ethnic diversity, they have hired a guy 
(Black as it turns out) as their head of "Diversity".  There 
are several minority drivers of several races in the lower 
classes.  Everyone has to start somewhere.  There just 
aren't that many minority stock car drivers that they can 
throw in a Nextel Cup car and not have them be wet spots on 
the wall right away.  Not good for anyone.

Are they doing everything they can?  No way they can make 
everyone happy, and they could  have been more pro-active, 
but even though it isn't NASCAR's responsibility to force 
minorities into racing seats, they seem to be doing what 
they can.  Give them, some credit.

How do I know this?  ESPN had a big story on NASCAR and 
ethnic diversity Monday morning (at least that is when i saw 
  it).

so there you have it.  Diversity aplenty for everyone.  :)
