I am fascinated by the technology aspects of Fl. I don't remember
exactly when the last concorde agreement was reached, but just
before that time the F1 cars were running about 1000HP and so they
changed the formula to 3.0L V10s and dropped down to about 600HP.
Now they are pushing that same 1000HP barrier again and now they are
talking about a new formula again.
But it's not just about the engine. Tires and aerodynamics are
critical to the whole package. It would be disappointing to see
only one tire manufacturer because these tire wars are a key drama
aspect to the series.
