Thanks for the reply Terry.
No, I have not tried a new DIS but you read my mind, it was next on my list. I noticed when I cleaned up the screws for it very little of the white stuff was left on its back, and it was hard and crusty, not gelatanous. What do you think?

Justin,
Have you tried another DIS module?? We had a local guy here that showed a coil circuit failure and it turned out to be a bad DIS.

Greetings all,
Even with my replacement coil in place, the 215 code still haunts me.
Since replacing the coil I've also checked all of the underhood grounds
I could find (including the screws holding the DIS and crossover tube
on), and the plug-in connections for the DIS and coil. Everything
appears hunky dory.
The symptoms are that usually right at startup, it will run rough and
throw the CE light. Eventually the CE light goes out and it runs
perfect. Usually it takes just a few seconds for the condition to clear
up, othertimes many minutes. When the CE light is on the tach jumps
around some (I swapped the cam sensor with a spare used one, also with
no change).
The KOEO test I ran over lunch today also gave me a 519 code (PSPS
circuit open) and 452 (insufficient input from VSS). I'm not really
worried about these unless, in combination with the 215, they point to
something else.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
