Thank you for enlisting. I tried but I am 4-F due to the fact that I am
missing my big toe. Any other toe and they'd let me in. I would have been a
Marine Aviator, Huh Rah! Whenever I see a man in uniform or a vet, I try to
go out of my way to tell him/or her that I appreciate the sacrifice that
they made.

Personally, I enjoy seeing the different points of view of my fellow SHO
owners. I don't take it personally when a person that disagrees with me
politically says something bad about my guy. I've said some bad things about
their guy, the difference is, my guy never does anything wrong and their guy
never did anything right! (take a joke, you Clinton lovers!)

I agree none of this has anything to do with SHO's but this has always
occurred in this community. That is why I enjoy it so. I belong to a Saturn,
a TDI and an auto cross group and none of them are as fun as this group and
the V8 SHO group. I think at the end of the day some spirited debate helps
us know our fellow SHO enthusiasts better.

Well, I tried a little last night, then tried to stay

I could care less if you are liberal or conservative.
My family has always been conservative, so obviously I
am too. But I have just as many liberal friends as I
do conservative. Big f*ckin deal. We agree that we
disagree, and we drop it. Life is too short to get
pissed at each other over stupid politics. 

And for those who give years of their life to the
government (whether its right or wrong) I salute you.
I'm enlisted, my fatther has been enlisted for 30
years, and my grandfathers were in the service. My
father was over in the gulf last year. I haven't been.
I'm ashamed he went when I haven't yet, but there
isn't anything I can do about it.

You guys can keep calling each other names and keep
throwing the mud. I'm done. Sorry for the rant, but it
seems like this OT is getting WAY out of hand.

Say, anyone know how much rod bearings cost? The local
autoparts stores seem ignorant this morning.
