[Shotimes] Bleeding the brakes

I've just finished putting new rotors and pads on the rear of my 91.
The left side caliper piston was completely pushed out, so I replaced
the seal and put it back in. I've got both sides all back together and
am trying to bleed the brakes, but it is not working. I've tried a few
different methods, but I can't seem to get the brake fluid to come out.
(The rotors and pad were shot, and the rear brakes weren't working at
all. The slider brackets on both sides were either broken or rusted. I
replaced them too) Any suggestions? I've been looking at the
proportioning value, but the thing is so rusty and worn, I'm afraid to
touch it. Any way of testing it? Thanks!!!
