[Shotimes] Duplicate posts

I can't explain the technical in and outs of it but I know from prior
experience that when I start getting duplicate emails (other than from posts
that I have previously responded to) if I run the inbox repair tool it will
invariably fix the problem. I didn't come across this solution myself but
was pointed towards it by my ISP. I didn't believe it when they told me
about it but I tried it and it worked. It has something to do with the
pointer that keeps a record of which emails have been downloaded off of your
server. I bet we have some IT techno weenies (and I don't mean that as a
put down) on here that can explain it much better than I can.

Yes, I'm using Outlook 2003 - could you explain why that would fix it?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express, you might need to run your
inbox repair tool.

Is anyone else getting duplicate posts? I get two from SHOtimes and one
from TechSHO (if it's cross-posted).

This occurs whether I'm the sender or not...
