OK; I admit.  I've had dishwasher salmon before.  (Wrap it up, throw it in the dishwasher and let it do the steaming.)  Pretty good too, actually.
 
I could not imagine putting nasty valve covers in the dishwasher and then washing my eating utencils in there afterwards though.  Perhaps if I was single. :)
