No, not yet.  Try lowering the hood, by screwing the corner bumpers downward, to see
if the two parts of the latch are too far apart.  If so, adjust one or the other
farther up if the receiver, or down, if on the hood.  Also, does the catch on the
radiator support slide easily when the cable pulls it, or is it stiff and 
......rusty......?

Usually, an adjustment of the alignment of the two parts of the latch are what it
takes to make it work....they usually don't wear out.
