Actually I'm quite happy with the way the engine spins up in 1st and 2nd gears since 
the flywheel.  It made my freeway entrances a lot more fun (and safe).  But I did only 
drive with the stock flywheel (and horribly gummed-up throwout bearing/quill tube) 
for a couple of months, so I may not have enough "before" data.
