Ian,

I'd be lying if I said that the thought of trading up to an MTX hadn't
entered my mind. I was browsing Autotrader's site last night, as a matter
of fact, "researching" some of the new FS SHO's in the area .. I don't thin
anything will come of it, but hey, it never hurts to dream. ;)

Don,

Thanks for the "silly" suggestion. I'll make sure to give it a try when I
head down to Tony's house later this afternoon. :)

Sergio,

The tranny was out for a rebuild last November (10k ago) during my infamous
and unexpected planetary meltdown. Surely if there was a problem of this
nature, it would have shown up before now? I'll talk with Tony about
looking into this possibility further. I'd sure rather have a cracked
flywheel or loose nuts (grin) than have to deal with an engine rebuild.

Adam

The flexplate can crack at the bolts that hold it to the crank. The nuts
that hold the torque converter can be loose too. Was the transmission
out recently for repairs?

If Tony can't find the cause, drive it till it makes itself more obvious
or blows up.
