I've owned this book for quite some time, but hadn't cracked it open
until just before bed time last night. Thank goodness I finally did. In
the 15 minutes or so before I closed it and dozed off, I found:
The elusive 116 ECT code SHOTimes didn't list. It is not a continuous
code, and only rears its head only during the KOEO or KOER tests,
indicating the temp is too high or low. Seeing how I ran KOEO without
being at operating temperature, I'm no longer worried about it.
Wiring diagrams. There's an overview one and a detail of the IRCM
innards. Nice.
And last but certainly not least, a slew of electrical tests
per-device, including the DIS circuit. That one spans two pages and
details each pin (PIP, CID, SPOUT, IDM, etc.), what voltages you should
be seeing, and so on. What a godsend!
Suffice to say I'll be reading this thing cover to cover as soon as I
can!
