Dave--The driver's side tank on my 94 ATX was leaking also and I was
advised by my local BAYSho buddies not to bother with repairing it as it
was a stop-gap fix at the very best and it would probably break down
when I needed it most.
I found a really good deal on a new one at www.1800radiators.com
There is a difference in an ATX model verus an MTX model--at least after
the ATX's were added in 1993. There is a difference in the SHO model
versus the SLO model--something about the oil cooler hook ups I believe.
Wish I could have been more help. I know the temptation to just fix the
problem, but if it only postpones the inevitable, then I don't consider
it a fix. The tanks on the sides of the radiators are a KNOWN weaklink
in the radiator.
