[Shotimes] OT-door lock problems

Guys

I recently bought a 95 pathfinder for my son, and it has electric door locks
and a Nissan security alarm system.

The problem he has is that when you put the key in the drivers door, all the
doors unlock- that's good. However, it doesn't work the opposite way for
locking the doors. In addition, the main door lock switch on the drivers door
does not work (electrically test shows its good though), but all the doors
will lock or unlock by themselves, on their own schedule. If you manually lock
them at night, you can come out the next AM and all the doors will be
unlocked. Since he does not live in the best of neighborhood, I am concerned
about theft

 I was even thinking about disconnecting the electrically connection inside
each door, and making them operate manually. Any thoughts???
