Same here. I haven't yet come across a situation where ABS worked better
than no ABS. And, I've had many situations where it is worse, like wet
slushy snow, wet leaves (the IN Convention "tree incident"), and gravel.

Liability fears would never allow it, but I wish cars had the ABS off-switch
like the original MBs with ABS back in the early '80s.

F-150 acts. My anti-lock system activates in my driveway on my way out, so I
haven't been up to even 10 mph yet. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I don't

Well, let's say that ABS functions mechanically below 25. Whether it "works"
in the given situation is sometimes debatable.

Just how fast was he going? ABS does not work under 25 or so mph. Remember
that folks, and let's repeat - ABS does not work at slow speeds.
