Do the T-Bird and LS have an LSD?

Tires matter a lot, GY Regatta tires don't sound very optimal.

I've had 4 Taurii GL and one SHO, and of them the SHO did best in the snow.

Comparing the SHO to my LS or the T-Bird isn't even fair. The T-Bird was a
hazard in even a slight snow with Goodyear Regatta tires on it, and my LS
V8 with Bridgestone Potenzas is a mess in the white stuff. The SHO (I
forget what I had on that for tires) was stellar even in deep snow in my
opinion. RWD traction control is overrated. It's great for accelerating out
of wet leaves and such, but in more than a few inches of snow I feel that I
do better with it off and a gentle foot on the gas pedal.

As for the FWD vs. RWD argument, I really like the FWD feel better in
general. Especially in the rain. However FWD is inherently weaker
structurally and I feel that it was a major contributor to the
squeaks/rattles/thunks/maintenance problems of the SHO and Taurii in
general. I think that the RWD is one of the biggest reasons the LS feels so
solid. IANA mechanic or engineer, just my meager observations driving
snow-covered hills in Philly.
