[Shotimes] Single vs dual exhaust

I am running a single exhaust. It's 2.5" with a resonator back to the
top of the rear control arms where it expands to 3", into a 3" Edelbrock
RPM muffler. It sounds pretty good I guess. Kind of loud. Saves about
15 lbs.

Subject: [Shotimes] Single vs dual exhaust
Occured to me that by running a single exhaust, I could save about 20lbs
or so with no loss of HP and TQ.
The custom piping would be quite cheap to fabricate.
Anyone doing this?
Bad idea?
