Well thanks all for you encouragement to go ahead with this little mod.
I'm not trying to make it loud though. Just trying to save some weight and make it simpler. There's always trouble with aligning the dual exhaust.

On my 92 I had 2.5" back to a glasspack (resonator), then a 2.5" 3
chamber Flowmaster at the end. Nice burble at idle and un-obnoxiously
loud at WOT. I got many compliments on it. Go for it!

I am running a single exhaust. It's 2.5" with a resonator back to the
top of the rear control arms where it expands to 3", into a 3"

RPM muffler. It sounds pretty good I guess. Kind of loud. Saves
about
15 lbs.

Occured to me that by running a single exhaust, I could save about
20lbs
or so with no loss of HP and TQ.
The custom piping would be quite cheap to fabricate.
Anyone doing this?
