[Shotimes] 93 MTX no start - part two

Ok, starter was failed. Had it rebuilt for $60. (Sorry Robert!)

 

Back to the not holding idle. 

 

It's weird. Started it up this morning, no problem. Gave it some juice, it
bogged down a bit but then came into it. It would then fall to about 600
rpm, back around 800, back to 600, then evened out.

 

Take off, no problem again. Coming to the first stop sign, clutch in, idle
drops to 400 then dies. Starts up with no problem, but have to stay in the
gas revving to about 900 or so.  Pulled into work, dies as I am stopping to
back up. Park, clutch in, dies. Restart, stays at idle no problem for
several minutes.

 

Ron, I did check battery connections, cleaned of the terminals, etc. They
all seemed ok. 

 

Any ideas?
