[Shotimes] mufflers

Yup, those generic Summit turbos are fine. I ran a similar style on the V8
SHO.

Really, as you mentioned, the trick for any good sound on a V6 SHO is to get
the biggest resonator in the car that you can get to fit. My previous '95
had $5 cheapie glasspacks, but had a long, fat resonator. I had ZERO rasp,
and actually it was a very good-sounding V6. The only sound I liked better
was when I had the Edelbrock RPMs on my '89.

If you are looking for a stock sound I've heard these work great, and
you can't beat the price:

If you go to something more performance oriented (chambered style or
what have you), just be sure to keep a resonator of some kind in the
system, it will sound horrible without one.

On my 92 I ran a long glasspack as a resonator and a single 3 chamber
Flowmaster at the back, all the piping being 2.5". I got many
compliments on the sound.

Good luck,

The driver side muffler has broken some baffles loose inside, and i was

wondering what kind of muffler i should get to replace it - another
stock
one....or upgrade both mufflers to a performance exhaust....and what
sounds
the best on a SHO...
