[Shotimes] Problem Pinpointed

Another thing to do is to clean those four connectors above the fan shroud,
and see if that helps.
Background: Twice on the caravan to CA, after driving for many hours then
stopping for awhile, my car wouldn't start. Kirk thought the problem sounded
familiar, as this happened to him after he screwed together his '91 with the
new 3.2. He lifted the "tray", unplugged/replugged the four connectors above
the fan shroud, and the car started fine. Happened once again on the way
home. He did the same trick, and it took right off.
When I put in a new radiator after the trip, I cleaned up all four of those
connectors. Now, I haven't done long trips, so I haven't seen the problem,
but it could be related to yours. BTW, mine is a '94 with 188K miles.

Sounds like a lousy problem. Does this event throw any codes in the
EEC-IV that can be used to troubleshoot it?
